Last year's project was the kitchen garden which to be honest this year hasn't been planted up yet! But a few sunny days will change that...
This year? A decking patio...
Tom had the wood delivered this afternoon and he set to work building as much of the frame as he could, until he ran out of wood... well we can't go for simple things such as a square patio now can we?
He needs to pick up some more wood for the curve tomorrow... keep posted :)
Saturday...
Vision was today followed by an invitation out for tea, so a limited amount of time to spend in the garden, but no hindrance to Tom! this is the curve finished before we left the house at 2!
Tomorrow and the actual decking will be screwed onto the frame... look in again!

Church was this morning, so Tom couldn't crack on until the sun was high in the sky, and HOT!
The decking went down quickly, but putting in 400 screws takes a little time. And we can't forget that beautiful curve either.. that takes skill and a sharp chainsaw :)
We had to take the children to their swimming lessons but there was time when we got home for the finishing touches before the final (and in my opinion...impressive, photos of the finished product)
Well what do you think? Not bad for a weekend's job!
